NEK Provides Electrical Energy Again

The Krško Nuclear Power Plant’s generator was resynchronized with the power grid last night at 21:37. The plant is currently running at 28-percent and will gradually increase its power by operating procedures.

Organizations authorized by the Slovenian Nuclear Safety Administration (SNSA) gave a positive opinion for the start-up after an independent control of the activities.

As we reported earlier, the Krško NPP sent the SNSA Analysis Report After Deviation and supporting studies. The SNSA confirmed that the Krško NPP implemented all necessary and expected measures and thus fulfilled the prerequisites for safe operation.
