Nuclear energy contributes to reliability, fairness, and sustainability of energy systems

Healthy energy system means safe and reliable supply of electrical energy to users at affordable prices and ensures environmental sustainability. Success of countries in coordinating these areas is followed yearly by the international non-governmental organisation World Energy Council – WEC. WEC prepares the Energy Trilemma Index. Slovenia is among top 15 countries on this index and among top 10 for its energy reliability. An important role in attaining these results is played by nuclear energy.
