Reliable supply of electrical energy is a requirement for normal functioning of a modern society

Reliable supply depends on sources, the robustness of power system, suitable reserves and connections. Krško Nuclear Power Plant attains high operating stability 24 hours per day throughout the year and is therefore the main factor in reliable supply of electrical energy. This is a production of electrical energy from a domestic source which does not depend on weather conditions and significantly contributes to self-supply of low carbon energy.
