Nuclear power plant keeps air clean and living environment healthy with its minimal CO₂ emissions

By using nuclear energy almost 1.8 million deaths worldwide from air pollution are prevented. Experts say increasing the use of nuclear energy in the future could prevent 7 million deaths from air pollution. Between 1990 and 1995, countries which increased their ratio of nuclear energy by 16% consequently reduced harmful substance discharges by almost 40%.
